Pour super cold water over the ink stain and let the cold water soak on the carpet for 30 minutes. Next you will want to gently blot at the stain to absorb as much of the water as possible. Then use hot tap water and begin cleaning the ink stain. Always use a blotting technique, never scrub at the ink stain.
How Do You Get New & Old Coffee Stains Out of Carpet?
Coffee is the morning beverage of choice in many households. The delightful drink helps to get people going at the start of a new day. However, when coffee spills on the carpet it can leave behind a nasty stain. Coffee can be rather hard to get out of the carpet. When coffee spills on the carpet, get cold water in a cup then add a few drops of dish soap and swirl it gently. Pour the mixture over the coffee stain and then gently blot at the stain. Cleaning Up Bodily Fluids on Carpet
Kids, and even at times adults, may leave bodily fluid stains on the carpet. Bodily fluids such as blood, vomit or sweat has high levels of protein which can be treated will an alkaline detergent. OxiClean is a great alkaline detergent that can be used on carpets. Dilute the OxiClean with cold water and pour it over the stain. Blot at the stain until it is gone, then rise the carpet with cold water. Rinsing is important. You never want to leave soap in the carpet or it can because sticky and hold in dirt.
How to Get Set In Juice Stains Out of Carpet
When the juices from a fruit seep onto the carpet or fruit juice, some can be very hard to get out of carpets. When fruit or juice stains the carpet, mix together 1 tsp of liquid dish soap, 1 Tbsp of white vinegar in a cup of water and pour the mixture over the stain. Allow the mixture to soak over the stain for about 30 minutes and then blot at the stain. Rinse the site with warm water.
